The Business plan gives you two extra design controls: removing NerdyTags branding from your profile (white label) and adding your own CSS. Both live on the Premium tab of the Customize page.

Remove NerdyTags branding (Business)

  1. Open Customize in your dashboard.

  2. Click the Premium tab.

  3. Turn on the branding switch on the Premium tab.

  4. Click Save Theme.

Your profile then shows without NerdyTags branding, so it looks fully yours.

Add custom CSS (Business)

Custom CSS lets you change anything the regular settings don't cover, like spacing, shadows or hover effects.

  1. Open Customize and click the Premium tab.

  2. Click Open CSS Editor.

  3. Type or paste your CSS.

  4. Click Save CSS, then check the result in the phone preview. On a computer it sits beside the editor. On a phone or in the NerdyTags app, tap the preview button (the phone icon) to open it.

What the editor changes in your CSS

To keep profiles safe, NerdyTags cleans up custom CSS when you save it:

  • Anything using javascript: is removed.

  • @import rules are removed, so you can't load outside style sheets.

  • Rules for body or html are changed to target .profile-body, the main area of your profile. You can write .profile-body yourself to make this clear.

Tips for writing CSS

  • Make one change at a time and check the preview, so it's easy to see what broke if something goes wrong.

  • Keep a copy of your CSS somewhere safe before making big changes.

  • Your profile is mostly viewed on phones, so check how your changes look at phone size.

  • Custom CSS can make text hard to read. Check your colors have enough contrast.

If something looks wrong

Remove the most recent rules you added and click Save CSS again. If you can't find the problem, click Clear All, then Save CSS, to go back to your theme settings.

If a setting isn't working the way you expect, email [email protected].

If you downgrade or cancel Business, you keep custom CSS and branding removal until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account moves to Free and these Business features no longer apply.
